Really enjoyed our lunch here. For those who are tall. Watch out, them ceilings are low. Very low. It all adds to the experience. Great service, great food.
Food was great but took far too long to arrive, even with just a few people in the restaurant. Freezing cold inside. Nice village location but parking is tricky.
We stayed here last night, beautifully clean room, really comfy bed, wonderful friendly staff, breakfast was delicious, Lovely pub, nice warming fire, we enjoyed every minute, and will definetly be coming back again.
Another great stay at this beautiful, traditional hotel/pub/restaurant, wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The garden is idyllic with a little stream running through. Staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. Rooms were exceptionally clean and decorated in a relaxing style with personal touches which added to our stay. We stayed in the newly built flat this time which was amazing. Great space with a lovely large walk in shower, overlooking the beautiful garden. The flat contained everything you need for a truly great stay in this wonderful village. Food was excellent, of a traditional nature. Thank you for another amazing stay - as always .
We had our works Christmas lunch there. The food was amazing. All of the staff were brilliant. Myself and my husband had a room for the night and it was outstanding. Lots of lovely little touches that did not go unnoticed. Breakfast was so good. 20 out of 10! Highly recommend and we will be back next year. Thank you.
We had a thoroughly charming stay in this stunning historic pub. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, clean and had lots of thoughtful touches, really outstanding attention to detail. The pub itself was probably even better, so cosy and full of character. Friendly locals, a serious proper log fire and delicious food. We would visit again in a heartbeat
This might be my new favourite place. A cracking Sunday lunch of generous proportions, low ceilings and friendly atmosphere. We played cards while we waited. A perfect Sunday afternoon.
Went for a meal at lunch. Service was faultless. Food was good with generous portions. Only issue was parking. The pubs car park can only hold about 5 cars and almost impossible to get out of if its full when you arrive. Seemed to be used for storing bricks. As Stockbridge is difficult for parking allow time for this if you've pre booked.
